TWO DAYS TILL FLORIDA!!!! woohoooooo!

We all went to a Michigan Camp conference last week... it was on Lake Michigan.

 

We have a women's retreat this weekend... I made coffee the whole time!! i love it.

We have been really busy up here at Portage! The past few weeks have been crazy and fun!

A junior high girl named Audi from our church invited Petey and I to go to her band concert last week. We went and it was so fun- jr. high kids are the best....

The Michigan EXPERIENCE!

Beth came to visit a little while ago and it was AWESOME! We called it the Michigan experience because we tried to do everything we could in the short amount of time Beth was here. We went to the point, the artiesian well, the Johnson's condo, snowoarding...and a whole lot of other stuff- it was great!

For those of you who don't know, I am doing an internship at Portage Lake Covenant Bible camp. It's definitely a transition from North Park. I do a lot of random things...I help with programing retreats, cleaning, mailers, making coffee drinks, and helping run the retreats we have here every weekend, and other random things. It's fun.

Being outside of the city has been DIFFERENT to say the least. I can actually hear my own thoughts! I like it!

We have had yesturday afternoon and today off! It has been the best. Petey and I went on a walk along the lake yesturday and it was so FUN! This morning I went over to Pete and Matt's and made my Mom's Swedish Pancakes! yuuum. Eric, Will, and Beth came too- Check out the pics!
